Free Outdoor Kitchen Design Service

Our free outdoor kitchen design service includes three main phases, consultation, design, and construction. With over 10 years of experience, our highly-trained and professional team can offer you an informative consultation. We can take care of everything from inspiration to installation. All you have to do is book a free consultation and a member of our team will be in contact.

At Outdoor Kitchens we understand that your outdoor space is an extension of your home, work, and life; and as such should reflect the style, purpose, and personality of the location. Our design team takes the time to get to know each customer and truly understand what they want and need. We pride ourselves on the creativity and innovation of our team to make something beautiful even in difficult or areas of limited space.

Phase One:
Consultation

We want to maximise the transformation of your outdoor space, that is why we take the time to fully understand your requirements and how you visualise your new outdoor kitchen, entertaining and living area.

To do this we offer a free no-obligation consultation service, either face to face in our showroom or over the phone.

Site visits can be arranged at this point.

This stage is the first step in your transformation journey.

Phase Two:
Design

This is the exciting stage, where you get to see your visions and inspiration connect with the talent and creativity of our designers.

Based on the consultation you had with our team member we will develop a 3D illustration of your outdoor kitchen vision.

Our team will work closely with you at this stage to ensure every area of the design matches your expectations and vision. Once the plan has been accepted we can supply and build or supply appliances only to get your project into the construction phase.

Phase Three:
Construction

Once you are elated with your design, the construction of your project can begin.

This is where we bring life to your dream outdoor kitchen, living and entertaining area.

Every outdoor kitchen is designed managed and built in house by us, providing you with an experienced team and hassle-free end to end service.

You can visit our showroom or take a look at our Instagram to see examples of our outdoor kitchens.

Questions to Consider When Designing an Outdoor Kitchen

It is important to consider what you are going to cook. Are you just going to be sizzling burgers & sausages or do you plan to be roasting joints? What you prefer to cook can affect the size of bbq that will suit you. If your preference is for more of a slow roast, you may prefer a Primo Ceramic Grill as well as a BeefEater BBQ.

When deciding on the type and size of BBQ or Grill you choose you should consider how many people you want to cook for. Is it always you and your mates or will you be having regular parties requiring a larger size cooking surface?

If choosing a BBQ or Pizza Oven, decide whether you want to use bottled or mains gas. Remember to purchase a simple to use conversion kit if required and ensure a gas safe engineer completes the conversion.

How far away is the indoor kitchen from your new outdoor area? You might want to include storage options, bins, etc into your outdoor kitchen so that you aren’t traipsing back and forth!

  1. Identify your ideal area and measure up accurately.
  2. Consider the sun direction, exposure to wind, etc for when you’re standing at your BBQ or Grill.
  3. Consider the location of utilities such as gas or water if you’re planning to use them.
  4. Consider what, if any, lighting is required to enjoy an evening entertaining.
  5. If putting your BBQ or Grill undercover, check if you will need additional ventilation.

We advise brick, stone or concrete blocks for your base with a granite (or similar) work surface.

BeefEater barbecues are not suitable for timber construction as they would require an insulating liner that is not available for this brand. If you would like an alternative to BeefEater that can be placed in a timber structure with insulating liner, we recommend premium barbecue brand Fire Magic, further details of which can be found at www.fire-magic.co.uk.
